With a misleading name, 3Herosoft DVD Audio Ripper can extract not only audio but also video from DVDs.
The program supports extracting contents from not only standard discs but also DVD folders and IFO files. However, it does not seem to support ISO image files, a popular means to store DVD contents. The program allows you to select the chapters you wish to convert and, in addition, you can pick your favorite audio track, subtitles and angle, in case multiple of these are available. You can also preview the movies and trim their length to extract just a segment.
The program supports multiple audio and video formats, including most popular ones. You can find output profiles classed into common audio and common video. However, there are also some extra classes in which the profiles are identified by the names of the supporting devices. The profiles can be customized and new ones can be created for later use. You can also set the output parameters so that large files are split into various chunks of a given size or time length.
In general, 3Herosoft DVD Audio Ripper seems to be a version of a general-purpose converter. It seems to me that the only thing different is the name, probably with the idea of attracting more customers.
